Description

This is a 100% pure essential oil of Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia). It has been grown, handpicked and steam-distilled in our herb gardens at the base of Mt Kenya. It is a truly fascinating oil, the Laikipia environment has given it a unique Kenyan signature while retaining its many aromatherapeutic benefits. It has a slightly more camphorous scent as compared to the european lavender.

Benefits: It is calming and strengthening to the nerves;  relaxing the muscles, lessening tension and promoting restful sleep. It is uplifting, hence excellent in balancing mood swings. It is  regenerating, healing (burns, wounds, bruises, sunburn), treating (eczema, scabies, dermatitis, allergies) reviving and toning to the skin tissues. Generally, it is anti-inflammatory, antiseptic; antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal and a skin tonic.

Tips for Blending: Our lavender blends well with all citrus oils, florals, cedarwood, patchouli and geranium.

Contraindications and Use: Do not apply to the skin directly. Dilute the oil in a carrier oil such as sunflower or moringa, at a maximum of 0.1%. You can also dilute it in our hydrosols, or any water and use  as room sprays or diffuse in your room or office. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight in the original container. Use within 36 months.
