Description

Our Eucalyptus globulus essential oil is obtained from steam distillation of leaves and young twigs of the Eucalyptus globulus tree from Central Kenya. It is also known as Blue Gum Eucalyptus Oil.

Benefits: It is antiviral, antispasmodic; decongestant, balsamic and parasiticidal. In skin care, it aids in the treatment of cuts, burns and sores. It is effective against asthma, bronchitis; catarrh and throat and mouth infections- hence widely used in mouthwashes and steam inhalations. It also helps in relieving stress-related conditions such as headaches and nervous exhaustion.

Contraindication and Use: Do not apply to or near the face of infants and children under the age of 10 years. The maximum allowed oral dosage for adults is 600 mg, and the maximum for dermal applications is 20% (20mL in 100mL of carrier oil).
